Smallmouth Bass

Smally caught in Quetico Park Ontario!! 17.5"er

This is a nice smally Iceman pulled out from the Green Bay area. Go Pack!!

Northern Pike

These are Northerns from Minn Lake and Macrae Lake in Quetico park Ontario,(Boundary Waters) Early Sept. 2008. I have never caught fish like this I must have caught 15 Northerns in 3 days and could have caught more lost a couple spent alot of time jigging for walleye and hoping for Lake Trout which we never caught. but Northern were hammering everything!! Especially deep divers and semi deep diving rapalas and storm lures, just drilling them sometimes right at the surface like 3 ft. from the canoe which can scare the shit out of you if your not paying attention. The top 3 pics here are the same 31"er biggest fish I have caught to date caught that one off the shore at the bottom of these little rapids which was the most beautiful place I've ever fished. Above and below the rapids were money in a boat or off the shore. bottom one was like 28 or 29(biggest I caught out of a canoe) if they are over 28 I would suggest using the net. I tryed to lift like a 30 incher into the canoe with the line like i was doing with most of these but it snapped immediatley and I lost a real nice fish and a real nice lure. If its a nice fish net it!!!

Largemouth Bass

20" 5.9lb Bradley Lake
Iceman Bass, Bradley Lake
20.5", Lake Nokomis
We usually do our largemouth fishing in Bradley Lake, up north WI between Crandon and Wabeno at Delfosses cabin which is just beautiful fishing and one of my favorite places in the world. our fishing up there has evolved over the years and we are catching more and bigger fish every year. The record up there for us has topped off at like 20 to 20.5 inches which we have caught a few of most being around 5 lbs until Iceman hooks this 5.9 pound beast which I unfortunatly was not a part of but I made him send me a pic for the blog. So I end up getting addicted to fishing and start fishing the city lakes here in MPLS usually I go to Lake Nokomis. My biggest bass from Bradley Lake was 18.75" and this Sept. I hook this hog featured in the bottom pic 20.5"!! I couldnt believe it with a buzz bait off the shore. Usually all I catch in Nokomis are five dollar footlongs and my 1 28" musky which I didnt take a picture of because I didnt realize I had my camera phone in my pocket until I let him go. dude. anyway I see this loch ness monster back just sink my lure and I set the hook and drag this beast to shore. I had a guy from around the corner take a pic for me right after he dropped my camera 8"s from the water in the wet sand anyway I got the pic and my record bass Mid Sept 08 lake Nokomis by the way no scale but I'm sayin well over 6lbs. Since then I go to lake Nokomis a couple time a week with surface baits and dont catch shit.
